  • Introduces 5 students to the fundamentals of IP through hands-on creative activities and interactive learning materials.

  • Empowers 10 students to understand how to protect their creative ideas through a LegallyBlack workshop.

  • Brings IP education to life for 20 students through a complete LegallyBlack Workshop + interactive IP Creation Lab™ workshop equipping them with knowledge to safeguard their innovations.

    • Funds a complete LegallyBlack Presentation + interactive IP Creation Lab™ workshop for about 20-30 students, including all necessary materials and resources.

    • Expands LegallyBlack’s reach by supporting one team member’s travel to deliver a LegallyBlack workshop to students outside of our region.

    • Funds a complete LegallyBlack presentation + interactive IP Creation Lab™ workshop about 50-75 students, including all necessary materials and resources.

    • Supports 1-2 team members’ travel to expand LegallyBlack’s reach to new communities.

    • Sustains LegallyBlack’s essential digital platforms and curriculum development for six months, ensuring we can continue to engage students nationwide, secure grant funding, and empower the next generation of IP-informed creators.

    • Funds a complete LegallyBlack presentation + interactive IP Creation Lab™ workshop for 75+ students, including all necessary materials and resources.

    • Expands LegallyBlack’s geographic reach by supporting 2-3 team members’ travel to deliver LegallyBlack workshops to new communities.

    • Powers LegallyBlack’s essential digital platforms and curriculum development for an entire year, ensuring we can engage students nationwide, secure grant funding, and empower the next generation of IP-informed creators.

    • Fund the development and maintenance of website management, social media, and print campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

    • Support the cost of content creation including professional photography, video production, and graphic design for social media and newsletters. 

    • Support the legal costs of securing intellectual property protection for expanded offerings and merchandise.

    • Support collaboration initiatives with like-minded organizations, influencers, and media outlets to promote the LegallyBlack mission. 

    • Support promotional efforts for workshops, webinars, and events that highlight the importance of intellectual property and empower creators to protect their ideas.

    • Fund the creation and development of LegallyBlack's curriculum including print materials for participants and enhanced presentations.

    • Purchase of materials for our IP Creation Lab™ where students are tasked with creating their own products and brands from scratch and are responsible for identifying the different forms of IP within their products during a presentation at the end of the workshop. 

    • Fund the costs of platform hosts including zoom and canva and audio-visual equipment for presentations.

    • Compensation for industry experts or legal professionals for workshops and events.

    • Support the travel costs for team members to lead out of state in-person presentations.
